In 2001 the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz society enabled me to work at MBI in Berlin with Christoph Lienau on pump-probe experiments on quantum dots.

In 2002 I went to Crete to work at IESL (FORTH)  with Demetrios Anglos on dual pulse femtosecond laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS).

I completed my physics degree with work on ultrafast pulse shaping, hard x-ray generation and HHG microscopy in the Zacharias group in Muenster and worked in the Center for Nanotechnology (CenTech).

In 2005 a Marie Curie  Fellowship enabled me to join Ian Walmsley‘s group at Oxford University  to study for my D.Phil in the Atomic&Laser Physics department .

I was also a member of Balliol College and the Balliol MCR.

Currently I am working at
